The Foot and Ankle Screening and Triage (FAST) Clinic is located in the Outpatient Rehabilitation Department on level 1 of the hospital. The clinic is for patients who require specialized foot and ankle assessment. It is focused on the evaluation of forefoot, midfoot and hindfoot conditions (ex. Bunion, Claw Toes, Hammer Toes, Foot Osteoarthritis, Morton's Neuroma, Tendonitis, Ankle Instability). The FAST clinic does not see patients with acute conditions like fractures or sprains or patients with foot infections or ulcers.

At the clinic, patients will have an assessment performed by a specially trained physiotherapist who will outline their options. If surgery is not an option, patients will be provided with conservative management advice and their referring doctor will receive a letter outlining the plan of care. If surgery is an option, patients will be referred to a surgeon and scheduled for a consultation.
