What to expect when you're expecting

Finding a physician for your newborn

Early pregnancy - first trimester

During the first trimester of your pregnancy you and your baby will experience the greatest amount of change.

Second trimester

During the second trimester of your pregnancy you will begin to feel more like you did before you were pregnant.

Third trimester

During this trimester of your pregnancy you will start getting excited about meeting your baby.

Pre-Registration

To make each visit to the hospital easier, a pre-registration form can be completed online using a secure website.

Maternity Assessment Clinic

The Childbirth Program at Queensway Carleton Hospital offers this out-patient clinic for women who may need access to additional health care services during their pregnancy.

Prenatal Classes

This evidence-based online tool identifies universal key messages for service providers in Ontario to share with their clients related to preconception, prenatal, postpartum and newborn health, as well as the supporting evidence for each of these key messages.
