Rebecca Hickey

Board Member

Rebecca is a communications strategist with a passion for making our community a better place. She is currently the Senior Manager, Public Affairs at NAV CANADA, one of Canada’s top employers. Her responsibilities include overseeing the company’s government relations, issues management, digital communications and media relations. Previously, Rebecca led the public affairs team at Hydro Ottawa, managing programs to engage and inform the utility’s key stakeholders. Since 2018, Rebecca has served on the Board of Directors at Ottawa Community Housing, the largest social housing provider in the nation's capital. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Journalism and Communications and is pursuing her Professional MBA at Sprott School of Business, Carleton University. Rebecca is married and has two daughters, both born at the Queensway Carleton Hospital.
