QCH ranked one of Canada’s Best Hospitals by Newsweek magazine

Queensway Carleton Hospital has been recognized as one of
Canada’s Best Hospitals in 2026. This year, QCH has been deemed an eight-year
champion after being awarded each year since the inception of Newsweek &
Statista's World’s Best Hospitals.
The ranking is based on an extensive evaluation process,
including:
- Hospital
Recommendations from Peers: Online survey among tens of thousands of
doctors, healthcare professionals, and hospital managers in 32 countries.
- Patient
Experience: Survey of patient satisfaction with hospitalization.
- Hospital
Quality Metrics: Medical indicators (data on quality of care for
treatments, hygiene measures, patient safety, and wait times).
- PROMs
Implementation: Statista online survey on implementation and use of PROMs
in hospitals.
