An Electrocardiogram (ECG) is a 12-lead view of the electrical activity of the heart. A number of stickers are placed onto your chest and limbs and a quick recording is made.

To book an ECG have your Doctor fax this requisition to our patient scheduling department and you will be called for an appointment shortly.

Holter Monitoring

A Holter Monitor records 24 to 48 hours worth of Electrocardiogram (ECG) information and is used to identify heart rate abnormalities. We also offer a 14-day event-recording monitor (Loop Recorder) that can provide similar information. The device is the size of a pager and is equipped with a number of electrodes and wires that get attached to your skin to record the information.

To book a 24- or 48-hour Holter Monitor or a 14-day Loop Recorder have your Doctor fax this requisition to our Patient Scheduling Department and you will be called for an appointment shortly.
