The Vice President, Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer will have a career-defining opportunity to help guide QCH to achieve our vision. You will be a prominent member of the Senior Leadership Team whose responsibility is to provide strategic direction and help lead a culture of continuous improvement.




  • Lead and motivate the Financial Services, Procurement, Facilities, Food Services, Logistics and Environmental Services teams
  • Work with colleagues and staff to align departmental plans with QCH’s overarching strategic plan
  • Ensure QCH’s strategic plan is communicated and embraced across the portfolio
  • Foster a positive work environment and culture of continuous improvement


  • Lead the Corporate Services and financial strategic planning process, including development, implementation, execution, tracking and evaluation
  • Provide executive and strategic advice to the President and CEO and members of the Executive Team
  • Work closely and collaboratively with partners and stakeholders within QCH, as well as the Champlain LHIN and the province to ensure QCH is aligned with, and delivers on its corporate and regional strategic priorities
  • Carry out strategic reviews, interpret trends, provide forecasts and determine effects of proposed changes on the organization


  • Provide strategic leadership with regards to financial opportunities and challenges
  • Provide insight and analysis to policy development and hospital funding sustainability
  • Develop, promote and participate in financial risk management and continuous quality improvement processes
  • Set a tone of organizational financial management excellence by developing standards and best practices, and by leading the portfolio to excel in delivering service to QCH.


Qualifications & Experience

  • University degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or Finance preferred
  • Professional accounting designation
  • A minimum of 10 years of management experience that has included healthcare management experience
  • Proven experience leading financial planning and successful cost control initiatives
