Care Grows West Campaign

We are proud to announce that the bold Care Grows West $35 million campaign to support expanded healthcare for the people and communities of west Ottawa and the Ottawa Valley has been completed! We can't thank this community enough for their support and dedication to this campaign.
 
Given the growing and aging population in west Ottawa and the Ottawa Valley, Queensway Carleton Hospital recognizes the urgent need for additional and improved health care services to better care for the communities we serve.
 
In response to the need, the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation publicly launched the Care Grows West campaign on September 30, 2009.
  
Part of the expansion included the Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Centre which welcomed its first patients on April 6, 2010 and has brought cancer care closer to home for thousands of residents. It will also see dramatic expansion of programs and services at Queensway Carleton Hospital including surgical care, diagnostic imaging, ambulatory care, dialysis care and cardiopulmonary care.

We are looking forward to sharing the ongoing vision with you... a project that will increase time spent directly caring for patients, creating access to best health care practices, increasing patient safety, creating a more patient friently environment, all with the singular goal of optimizing patient care at Queensway Carleton Hospital.
