About The Childbirth Centre

The Childbirth Centre has been part of the Queensway Carleton Hospital since 1999.
The program was built on the expertise and strong commitment to mother and baby
care found at The Salvation Army Grace Hospital for so many years. Our services
include prenatal education, outpatient clinics for care before and after your baby is
born, the Birth Unit, a Special Care Nursery, and the Mother and Baby Unit.
We have one of the largest community hospital- based obstetrical services in
Ontario. Our close partnering with CHEO and The Ottawa Hospital is crucial in
ensuring the best care for you and your family.
